I have stopped all symptoms of ODD and bipolar disorder in my 7-year-old son by using non-flushing niacin (vitamin B3). DMDD frequency was 45% autism, 39% ADHD-Combined, 12% ADHD-Inattentive, 3% typical. DMDD most common in autism, even controlling for oppositional behavior. Only 5% who did not have ODD had DMDD symptoms, and most of these children had autism. It should be noted that the DSM-5 clearly states that DMDD and ODD cannot co-occur, though other research makes correlations to suggest that this is a point of disagreement (Baweja, Mayes, Hameed, & Waxmonsky, 2016; Zaky, 2015). As indicated, individuals with DMDD have a chance to be affected by other behavioral or mood disorders. ADHD, ODD, and DMDD symptoms range from mild to severe.
